Toddlers

How many of you out there have a toddler at home?  I used to have three.  Now two of mine are in school, but I still have one at home.  My little girl is going to be 2-years old in November and she is a ball of fire.  Sometimes she is more active than her two brothers, and that is saying a lot for my kids.  She likes to climb, she likes to run, she likes to get into anything and everything that she can get into.  She is also a very inquisitive girl.  She likes to figure out how to do things and how to reach things.  For example; she has figured out that she can pull open the dresser drawers, stand inside them, and reach the top of the dresser.  She has figured out that she can putt a box or crate up to where she wants to reach and stand on top of it so she can see better.

My little girl is very smart.  You can see her try to count numbers when her brothers are counting.  Sometimes when she is watching Leap Frog or Barney shows you can see her trying to repeat some words.  She is at that stage where everything is a learning experience.  Even something as simple as going to the mail box can be fun.  Kids and toddlers can open our eyes up to things we never saw before.  They can tell us jokes that don't make sense.  They can do things that just make you go hmmmmm.  But, no matter what they do they are still just kids and they look at things much differently now then we do.  It just goes to show you that if we could all look through the eyes of our kids the world might be a much better place.
