We have all heard the phrase: "when life hands you lemons make lemonade". However, I never really took that to heart. Over the past year things have been crazy for me and I have had to do this many times. I must say that my husband is much better at doing this than I am. I get rattled and shaken quite easily, but he is able to take things in stride. I truly want to embrace this phrase, but am finding it hard when you keep getting hit with one thing after another.
Things are never as bad as they may seem when you are in the middle of a storm, but if I can learn to truly take this phrase to hear and turn bad things into something good and positive then life will be grand. I don't know how long it will take me to do this, and I don't know how often I will fail, but I can say that I will try. I may have a momentary breakdown, but I will get back up and make the freshest and sweetest hand squeezed lemonade out of the sour lemons I have been handed.
