| Desktop Jellyfish Tank |
Playing on Facebook today I saw an ad that sparked my interest and I clicked on it. The ad was for a jellyfish tank. My first thought was, jellyfish as pets? But apparently it is possible. I would have never thought that this was a creature that you could keep as a pet but upon further research I learned it can be done. There are special requirements and needs for those looking to have jellyfish as pets. After all, they are not the same as fish and have different needs. There are also certain jellyfish that may be slightly dangerous or poisonous so you have to make sure that you don't just catch a jellyfish in the ocean and try to domesticate it. If you think that jellyfish would make an interesting pet and are willing to do a little research and learn how to take care of and provide for this creature then I say go for it. I personally think they would be interesting to have as a pet. It doesn't mean that I would actually keep one as a pet because I am not good about keeping up with animals that require a lot of care, but it would be interesting and unique none-the-less. For anyone who may decide to take the plunge and get some jellyfish...let me know how it goes.
